History of the School
KERALA PEOPLES EDUCATION SOCIETY (KPES) established in the year 1964 as an Education Institution is registered under the Societies and Trust act. This Institution is a Linguistic minority institution.
The main objective of this Trust was to part quality education at affordable fees to the needy students. With this objective in mind we established a school in the name of Jawarlal English School at Maharshi Nagar in Gultekdi in the year 1964.
After running Jawaharlal English school for about 25 years, we thought of establishing a school in the rural part of Pune where English education was not available at that time. With this aim in our minds we established a school in Undri-Pisoli in the name of HILLGREEN HIGH SCHOOL AND JR.COLLEGE. There was no English medium school at that time in Pisoli, Undri, Mohammadwadi Sayyad Nagar, Sasane Nagar, Hande wadi etc. With our establishing this school the villagers of this rural part of Pune got the benefit of quality English medium education for their children.
